2. Hosting & Server Log Files

This website is hosted on Microsoft Azure Container Apps (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland).

Each time the website is accessed, the web server automatically collects the following information and stores it in server log files:

  • IP address of the requesting device (anonymised after transmission)
  • Date and time of access
  • Requested URL / page
  • HTTP status code of the response
  • Volume of data transferred
  • Referrer URL (if transmitted by the browser)
  • Browser type and version, operating system (user agent)

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest — operation and security of the website).

Retention period: Log files are automatically deleted after no more than 30 days. Data is not shared with third parties unless required by law.

This website uses cookies and comparable storage technologies. Cookies that are not technically necessary — in particular analytics cookies — are only set with your explicit consent pursuant to Section 25 TTDSG.

Only with your consent do we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, represented in the EU by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Purpose & Functionality

GA4 sets cookies to collect information about website usage (pages visited, time spent, interactions). The resulting information is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. We have enabled IP anonymisation.

International Transfer

The USA is not considered a safe third country by the EU Commission. However, Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (certificate available at: dataprivacyframework.gov). Additional safeguards are ensured through the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Google Privacy Information

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TTDSG (consent).

Retention period: Usage data is automatically deleted by Google after 14 months.

You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future (see Section 3).

If you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide (e-mail address, name, content of the message) will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

Retention period: Until the enquiry has been fully processed, thereafter in accordance with statutory retention periods (generally 6–10 years for business correspondence).
